This pair of glorious antique Victorian earrings are each built around a sphere of Bullseye Agate with a rich dark brown hue and a white band flowing around the circumference. It is these natural bands which give this type of agate its name.
A single old cut approx. 0.10ct White Topaz is enclosed in the 9ct Yellow Gold gallery above the Agate drops, leading up to 9ct Yellow Gold wires, which are a more recent addition.
The agates have taken on some minor flaws over the years, but these are still a magnificent set that exemplifies the craftsmanship and skill of the Victorian jeweller.
